Here right I’m still annoyed about whoever did the speech at the end of Certain Songs by Johnny Foreigner.

“certain songs” is the only jofo song i actively avoid, which is a shame because it’s a good song until that speech comes on. the rhythm is way off, and it grates my brain listening to it.

alltheseghosts replied to your post: engineers use j for imaginary numbers and mathematicians use i. shit is so confusing when you’re trying to do complex stuff and people can’t even agree on notation.

we use i so engineers can’t crack our codes and learn of the “Master Plan”.

(also, the textbook i use to revise is technically an engineer’s textbook and the first time i saw j instead of i confused me so much)
